TERT training

Telecommunicator Emergency Response Taskforce training will be held at the Fall Conference in Topeka.  The Basic Awareness Training starts on SUNDAY, from 10a.m. to 5p.m., and the Team Leader training is on Monday from 8:30 to 4:30.  Class size is limited, and registration deadline is October 1...so register for this training today!  Registration is through the Kansas Office of Emergency Communications.  More information, along with class flyers can be found at www.ksapco.net.

KS911 Coordinating Council to hold monthly meeting

From Michelle Abbott, 911 Coordinating Council - In conjunction with the KS Chapter of APCO Fall Conference-  the KS911 Coordinating Council will be holding their Monthly meeting.  The subcommittee’s will meet was well  (Technical, Operations and Administration).

Chairman Walt Way will address the quorum on Monday providing and update of the 1st year of the Council and the accomplishments and directions 911 is taking in the State of Kansas.
